This morning I said, “Alexa, play music…” and I paused, trying to decide which artist. But Alexa said, “Okay,” and the music started. That was 2 1/2 hours ago, and I’ve loved every song she’s played except for one. So now Alexa is my new best friend, and I’m totally creeped out.

This morning I went on the hunt for two red leather side chairs I saw advertised at a thrift store on facebook marketplace, because who doesn’t want red leather side chairs? But when I got there, one of them had been sold, and no one wants only one red leather side chair.

So I will put it out there that I’m just a little freaked out that my mother had open heart surgery yesterday. I wish I had gotten those red leather side chairs so I could tell her all about it when she wakes up.
