@childlitprof So, many kids love creepy stories. Especially when scary things are going on the world. Middle grade horror is the hottest thing in our library right now — can’t keep it on the shelves. We’ll definitely be spending funds on growing the “scary story” part of our collection.

It's called bionic reading — the first few letters are bolded, making it easier for readers to glide through text and stay focused.

Charter schools and private schools aren’t required to admit every child. They aren’t required to have a SpEd program or make accommodations. Public schools are required to accept every child and meet their needs…defunding public schools threatens the most vulnerable kids.
So apparently my kid likes to rub it in to her friends that she’s “connected” — as in “where did you get the invisible ink pen?” “Oh, my mom works in an elementary school library — so she hooks me up every time they have the book fair.” She’s a Senior. 😂

Yesterday, two of our customers got hitched at the restaurant next door. Between ceremony and reception guests were invited to choose a book from our shop. We kept a running tab. An open book bar!
