The Eras Tour ended 24 hours ago. Yes you read that right. As much as I want to sit here thinking of the perfect thing to say to put off the inevitable, it's time I get over with the hardest part (goodbye) 🤍 Goodbye glitchy livestreams, goodbye friendship bracelets, goodbye obsessing over outfits, goodbye obsessing over surprise songs, goodbye seeing swifties insanely beautiful outfits on my tl, goodbye counting down to each stop, goodbye to my favorite part of every week with a show for the past 2 years. Thank you for all the joy, laughter, clowning, screaming over surprise songs, friendship and rep bodysuit edits. Thank you Taylor's team, band, vocalists and dancers who have given us their all every single night. So many of you have told me that you wake up every morning of a show to my notifications all over your phone or scrolling through my account to catch up on each show so thank you for allowing me to be your glitter on the floor after the party, which is each and every Eras show. Thank you Taylor Swift for being a beacon of light in all our lives, bringing us together with your music and attitude towards your career. A role model for all of us in this scary world. Thank you for giving us something so beautiful that makes saying goodbye so hard and because of you, we will never truly be on our own, kid with your music and this community you have made for us 💖
2 years, 149 shows later,
Goodbye The Eras Tour 🫶🏻✨
Been up since 4.30am (after having spent all of last night waking up every 30mins scared that I had slept through my alarm and having weird dreams about the eras tour) and as exhausted as I am I don’t want to go to sleep. As emotional as today was, it was special in its own way.
I am so thankful that I didn’t have the first two lessons today and could experience the last show of the eras tour… even if it was through a grainy live
I’m actually so thankful that the last weekend of the Eras Tour is happening in Vancouver. Waking up at 7 for surprise songs and at 4.30 for the whole show doesn’t seem so bad in comparison to other places / shows
Like how do you expect me not to cry when The Last Time and Safe & Sound come on right after each other the week before the last weekend of the Eras tour?
Playing this mirrorball girlies playlist whilst driving to work was not the wisest of decisions. Third day in a row that the drive to work turned into a battle with my emotions.
