@nickcammarata As others have noted it's largely because sex work can be rationalized, it's the emotional and physical aspects of it (emotional wear and tear, trauma, physical revulsion response) that raise hackles. A hyper rational mind (eg spectrum) is less likely to care about those things.

@SteveSkojec @Electradyne112 The deeper thing is the sexual revolution, the related centering of sexual individualism, which relies on personal independence (also from hard commitments in relationships, pregnancy etc) that decenters relationships and re-centers the sexual self.

It's a key difference between Catholics and Protestants (I am neither).
