@pulseonapath @gordonkerry @YouTube I love that Violin Concerto..has shades of the Berg VC. It's bloody difficult. Who's playing it? (as for performing Britten as a youngster, I wAS in Noyes Flood in Townsville as a child...in the Baroque era. Made such an impression on me!)
Rehearsals are in full swing for our Mozart’s Jupiter concerts next week! Today we were rehearsing at @oldmuseum 🧡 We’ll be performing Mozart’s epic “Jupiter” symphony and his exquisite Sinfonia Concertante at @atqpac (Thursday) and @empire_theatre (Saturday)! 💕
"This was an evening few present would forget. And, hopefully Lior's fans would have fallen in love with Camerata, and Camerata fans would continue to follow Lior. A night to remember" Weekend Notes (photo: Alex Jamieson. @camerataQCO )
@pulseonapath@frindley I'm sure you were nice, and at the end of the day, how they react to your mentoring is something you can't control. I was a naive boy from NQ when I was at Uni, so I needed a lot of what you've done for that student.
@pulseonapath@frindley What's good is that they feel autonomous enough to view you as colleagues and to therefore use a very informal salutation. You could say though that while you want them to develop into a colleague for comms like this "Dear" or "Hello" is less controversial. "Hey guys" sounds like
Not sure about the "celebrated violinist" bit but had a lovely chat with the excellent @simonmoore72
of @FineMusicSydney
to talk about life and @camerataQCO

“My boys were inspired. They’re now on YouTube, binging on Harry Potter classical music.” Sally (parent) Thanks for having us East Brisbane State School! On Tuesday, we popped in for a few performances. Our education shows are a real hit & the students adored it! #camerataqco
