I bought 2 copies of each game also all the DLC. Then I did a 100% let's play series of the remastered first game. Sony just makes poor decisions sometimes and disbanding Japan Studio is one of the big ones.

@Zachruff @Luxin_Xeno Yes, this is the best place to start since it's a remake of the first game and at the earliest point in the Trails timeline. You could also play Cold Steel 1-2 independently without any issues if you wanted to.
