It’s funny how there’s a new threshold for appreciation that’s trending downward for everything that exists in the world. We now laud a company for not doing a bad thing when before it wasn’t an option. They have a new opportunity to be rewarded for not doing things worse
I still feel like THEY CLONED TYRONE didn't get neeeeearly enough love. But Juel Taylor (Director) and co-writer Tony Rettenmaier killed that shit. It's a bonkers blaxploitation sci-fi Scooby Doo mystery movie and more people need to see it. It's on Netflix so check it out.
You won't believe how they captured this shot. I'm determined to keep singing the praises of Christopher Nolan's Tenet. I can't understand why it isn't universally loved. Filmmaking is truly my passion.
"When I was in film school, 'La Haine' (1995) was THE film; this was the thing that you got together on a Saturday afternoon; you drank a few beers, you just watch this thing over and over again"
--- Barry Jenkins
So refreshing to watch a midbudget, character driven movie where the actors are clearly having a fucking ball chewing up the scenery. Stellar turns by all 3 leads and a killer supporting cast chock full of Guys™️, can’t ask for more from The Movies
