@ManagerTactical The broadcast playing the Degree deodorant commercial where Pulisic says he “wants to change US soccer forever” during the post game is just acid on a wound
This World Cup was going to be inevitably good for two reasons:
1) People from all over the world coming to USA/CAN/MEX on a vacation to actually have fun (duh)
2) The average American has gotten fatigued over the years by "America actually sucks" content
I think a lot of people, especially Americans, just want to enjoy their summer, crack a beer, and hang out normally without having to read a billion geopolitical thinkpieces on the World Cup. And that's what this World Cup feels like. A bunch of people, from all over the world, just hanging out. And it's awesome.
@texasrunnerDFW@jamesbohanpitt Southlake is Tarrant County, I would hardly consider it representative of Dallas. It’s also increased in property value in the last 5 years, including up from last year. So you’re lumping in suburbs that don’t apply to your statement
Only one chance in this lifetime…
Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.
I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.
@Rebelman98@PGuy77 LSU lost more “talent” than Ole Miss in the portal, but it also had more “talent” on its roster. Simply using the in/out metric is a poor comparison
