Good call with the Lawyer last night re #footballindex - the previous challenges I have shared remain but we both have some post meeting actions and research and will explore every avenue possible to seek justice and get political attention!

@GaryTraderFI1 There's always a chance of a positive outcome. In an ideal world this would have been resolved as it's so obvious we were screwed over by the regulators. They didn't have a clue what they were doing and neither did the FI Directors. Govt. now complicit in covering it up sadly.

As my #footballindex followers are aware I have received plenty of disappointing correspondence with poor quality content confirming a total lack of understanding of their procedures and rules. However this response from the Parliamentary Ombudsman is probably the worst yet.

The issue appears to be they need the FCA approval to release the information. My advice says they do not so it will be interesting to see what the response says today.

Update 1) - waited an eternity for this simple FOI to be answered which seems to be causing the GC all sorts of problems & will probably end up going to the FOI Office as a complaint. Answer due today!

@fplreview Have you done any comparisons on last seasons massive data model predictions vs market odds predictions vs outcome?
I assume market odds can’t cover finer data points?
I’d quite often try 0% and 100% to get both viewpoints anyway, and quite liked the 40% market odds blend 😄
