@Domestique___ Del Torro and Seixas were the only ones pulling behind the van der Poel break away. They were both dead in the final of the race. The ones who were mostly on the wheels are complaining the most😜

HERE ARE THE MISSING IMAGES, thanks @Minimalizm__ !
Kasia didn't lie. After leading the peloton, Celia Gery slipped back, allowed her leader Vollering to attack and pushed Kasia to the barriers. Super dirty move but part of cycling, I guess.

🚨⏱️ Richard Carapaz set today a NEW CLIMBING RECORD on Col de la Croix de Fer-Glandon (24,1 km@5,3%): 56 min 00 sec at 25.82 km/h average speed. He crushed Alberto Contador's record from 2017 by almost two minutes, he's flying!

But that UAE pulled helped him hugely. Why? Because that massively increased his chances. You know, this was the very first Grand Tour stage he has won from the early breakaway.
I always said and I will that for him it is almost impossible to win from a break, because he will be the strongest rider with the best finish, and the other riders won’t pull him to the finish. Unless they would’ve been pressured by the chasing peloton. And that what exactly happened.
