@ClemsonTigers National Weather Service Warnings Officers on duty 24/7 offer Decesion Support services free of charge and are professional, non-biased personnel to make these decisions.
@ClemsonTigers Again Universities like Clemson, NC State and UNC are using private forecasters for lightning data. The have a profit motive to shut down games. The National Lightning Detection Network shows no data to support their decision.

@ClemsonTigers The National Lightning Detection Network is the most reliable detection technology available for cloud to ground lightning strikes. The ACC needs to let the Warnings Forecast at the local WFO make these calls. The people make by them do not have the expertise.
@ClemsonTigers Again, just like the Carolina game last weekend, an Amazon purchased weather detector is stopping a major college football game. These devices have no proof that they work. The National Lightning Network shows no CG strikes with g 12 miles. Same.
@UNCFootball Why don’t you the the Warnings Firecast Officer at the NWS call the lightning delays. Whoever did this was incompetent. Ruined a football afternoon being afraid of their own shadow. Shame. People paid a lot of money to see this event.
@UNCFootball Guys there is a thing called the National Lightning Detection Network. Use it. If it doesn’t show lightning withing 200 miles (which it doesn’t ) perhaps your lightning detector bought on Amazon is a piece of crap.
@HustleBitch_@grok please explain to everyone what a 3 body scatter strike is on radar and how the location of the KLWX radar could explain this phenomenon.
@GoStripers @AntonelliBaseball a good place for you to comment on. I was there, and it looked like the umpires blew this one. It ended the game. Is it true that if the third baseman had tagged the runner standing on third before he tagged the base it could have been a double play?
