@BREW_MATHs Some of these matchups are brutal. Jeffress is loved by a lot of people, but would never win against Yelich.

@BREW_MATHs The taco concession is actually pretty amazing. The nachos are phenomenal and the tacos are out of this world. I got them on the second level in the corner of left field.

This was so fun to do with such an awesome group of guys! If you enjoy Star Wars, give this podcast a listen to! These guys know what they're talking about and are a ton of fun to listen to.

[Pod Wars @PodWarsPodcast]

NEW EPISODE!!! Is the Star Wars Saga a cohesive story.....or a poorly planned project? The guys debate this topic with our friends @BrewsCrewPod and @SonsOfHahnarchy co-host Steve #starwars #podcast #theriseofskywalker #clonewars

Yelich extension is the best news I could have gotten today.

I'm ecstatic.

[Joel Sherman @Joelsherman1]

Yelich has been working on 1 of most team-friendly deals in MLB, which he signed with #Marlins (7 yrs, $49.6M). With the option the deal would have taken him thru his age-30 season. #Brewers tear up option give him 7 more years at roughly $188.5M beyond 2-$26.5M currently owed

[Jeff Passan @JeffPassan]

Once it's finalized, Christian Yelich's new deal with the Milwaukee Brewers will span from 2020 to 2028 and pay him in the neighborhood of $215 million, sources tell ESPN. It also will include a mutual option for the 2029 season.

@garygoesboom @BrewersRaptor Dear America,

Our sports are being hi-jacked by owners. They hire a commissioner to be the fall guy.
Their patsy slowly erodes our perception of the game (rule changes, player crack downs, etc).
The slippery slope then allows them to reshape the game in the name of money. #Greed

[Brews Crew @BrewsCrewPod]

@Kyle_Lesniewski Sure CC said that Lauer and Peralta will compete for the 5th spot, but I don't think B. Anderson's ceiling is as high as either of those two.

[Brews Crew @BrewsCrewPod]

@Kyle_Lesniewski Honestly, I'm more interested in which Brett Anderson ends up having. He feels like a bigger wild card than either Lauer or Peralta.

BASEBALL

[Sophia Minnaert @SophiaMinnaert]

Craig Counsell said Josh Lindblom, Eric Lauer, and Adrian Houser will each pitch an inning tomorrow in the Cactus League opener. Omar Narváez will catch.

[Brews Crew @BrewsCrewPod]

@drunkchisoxfan @Ken_Rosenthal Solid bat, can play solid defense all around the field, and I've heard really great things about him as a person. Every team should be jealous of this signing.

[not bob kozlowski @notbobkoz]

Brewers fans supported this team in the early 2000s when the ownership and front office surrounded their young ace in Ben Sheets with, looks at notes, Ruben Quevedo and Glendon Rusch.

@SPStreamer @baseball7310 @Brewers @BREW_MATHs I thought this was you for a second, but then I didnt see any 🔥or 🍻. Lol

2019 v 2020 Brewers Opening Day Roster

C slightly worse
1B better (remember Jesús was terrible)
2B slightly better (Hiura > Moose)
SS same for now Urías?
3rd much improved (remember Shaw)
Outfield the same with potential to be better with more depth and healthy Cain.#Facts

[Brews Crew @BrewsCrewPod]

@KevinPawell23 @RadioJoeSports He's a depth piece. He'll be one of the first called up when one of our corner infielders gets hurt.

[Foolish Baseball @FoolishBB]

@painfulhalo Yelich

[Pitchers⚾️ & Pitchers🍺 @BrewersOfMKE]

Avi García
Omar Narváez
Justin Smoak

Those are 3 names that everyone knows we acquired, but I think the impact they will bring is much larger than most anticipate.

Those are 3 players everyone will be very pleased with. They will do major things.

@HoodieYeli I bet that Wood that Wood took less money for 2 reasons:

1. Dodgers.
2. He has history with them.

[BREW MATHs @BREW_MATHs]

@jrdesignsinc @DC16_clouse This lineup has the potential to be better than last year’s:

Cain CF
Hiura 2B
Yelich RF
Braun/Garcia LF🍺
Gyorko/Sogard 3B🍺
Smoak 1B🍺
Narvaez/Pina C🍺
Urias/Arcia SS🍺
P

🍺: Acquisition

Many seem to think blindly spending on big names equals wins.
History proves it does not.
