@BookcaseTruth No Brexit - because why should a 1 sentence question referendum without legislation to implement the outcome nor any level of majority stipulated, bind an entire nation to something that will be long lasting & damaging plus has implications of criminality, fraud & manipulation
@Keir_Starmer To further integrate UK back into the EU will make UK most safe & secure & powerful all at the same time. You need to work against the forces within the UK & funded from people & places externally that worked to make a Brexit in order to isolate & destabilise & profiteer from UK
@Keir_Starmer @guse_guse @LidlGB@RachelReevesMP Based on a 1 sentence question with no legislation to implement, no plan, no definitions, no risk review, no scrutiny of stats/info in parliament or informed MP vote our rights as EU citizens & the huge choices that gave UK were taken away. Small moves are great but UK needs more
@BorisJohnson Well Boris, clearly the answer is to become full voting members of the EU & become powerful once again & save a lot of money whilst weβre at it - those things that you actively lied about & encouraged the UK to move away from. Clearly Brexit has not worked as it is & was a crime
@alexarmstrong UK was betrayed by the Brexit lies & fraudulent claims & even the distinct lack of following law & process (the EU ref was not legislated to be implemented) which is the basis of UK democracy. There was also no risk review, no plan, no scrutiny of stats/info by MPs or a decision
@Keir_Starmer How about securing a really integrated & interconnected deal with all the EU nations - our nearest neighbours - this will do the most for British businesses & trade - much more than with anywhere else on earth. It makes the most economic, social & political sense of all time
@Keir_Starmer The best deal will be with the 27 nearest neighbouring countries - to make it easier to trade again, people to find jobs, for artists & musicians to tour, long term tourism/retirement, tourism issues in general, all of these things are more important & relevant than a U.S. βdealβ
@DrNeilStone Fun fact: humans donβt live forever, even those who have had no vaccine of any kind: you are not immortal. Vaccines help the human body to recognise/defend itself from invading illnesses of many kinds, there is proof over many decades of how valuable vaccines are & much research
@Nigel_Farage Thicko101 should be your user name Farage except that would be too kind. DEI gives recognition & opportunities to those otherwise marginalised & left out & climate change understanding is necessary to protect & preserve the entire world. Without these things there is no equality
@Keir_Starmer I bet you can up the game by deepening ties with 27 of our nearest neighbouring countries which will immediately raise living standards & put more ££ in pockets of the whole UK & be of long lasting benefit to individuals & businesses plus increasing UK safety & security & power
@BBCBreakfast In UK there is a statutory right to follow the Equality Act 2010 & also statutory right for flexible working since 2024, both of these allow for ideas of DEI & working from home. Local councils do not have the power to ignore, change or scrap laws, that is not within their remit
@SteveM0365 Also when will they realise they are bound by the laws of UK in their actions, & that they cannot just change or eradicate the laws at their own particular wim. They think by winning council seats they will win the next GE then be law & process slashers, it doesnβt work like that
@Keir_Starmer Could you just step in & join the UK to EU functions again - so businesses can trade easily again, people can get jobs, people can travel easily etc - if you care about UK now & for generations to come. Brexit is & always will be a crime - donβt support that by perpetuating it
@ProfBrianCox EU referendum was not legislated to be implemented. It was a political decision to enforce it not a legal requirement, & parliaments cannot bind another. A democracy can change its mind. Also - govnts can seek new ways to join existing systems to benefit the nation in new ways
@Keir_Starmer Make it easy to trade with 27 of the nearest countries again, make it easy for UK to fill jobs with people from these countries, make it easy for UK people to find jobs in those countries. Make it easy for people to travel around these countries. Re-strengthen these connections!
