it was great watching this amazing show
not sure why they made only 2 episodes for this season but i’m glad it ended with rhaenyra finally claiming the throne like her father wanted 🙏🏾
Treated Rhaenyra's first three sons as his own, bethroted his daughters to Jace and Luke, beheaded Vaemond for insulting Rhaenyra and her kids, also the only one who tried to get revenge for Luke. You can accuse Daemon of a lot of things, but not this.
The Corgi was the one leading them home
The German Shepherd was injured
The dogs kept a protective formation around the German Shepherd
The Corgi stopped often to make sure they were still okay
It took them 2 days to get home
They are neighbourhood friends
I’m going to cry😭😭😭
I love when a man likes me & he comes to GET ME. Ain’t no talking. ALL action, all gas. Applying all the pressure. Ain’t no letting up! That’s how you betta come if you gonna come!!
NGL I JUST HEARD SOMEONE SAY, “MAYBE YOU DON’T NEED MORE TIME TO HEAL, MAYBE YOU NEED MORE EXPERIENCES THAT SHOW YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM A DIFFERENT REALITY,” AND YEAH… IT ECHOED IN ME
I’m gonna get yelled at for saying this… but a lot of women are single because they haven’t met a man who’s better at being a man than they already are.
As a therapist, I want to tell you: “You loved him because love is in you. You had fun because you are fun. You felt happy because you are a happy person. You gave your all because that is who you are. You have a really beautiful way of loving, and you are going to be okay.”
You cannot watch Bridgerton and deal with a man who ignores your text. What do you mean you do not burn for me ? When I want to stand with you between the heavens and the earth?
an elderly man was once asked how he managed to stay married for over 50 years. his answer was unexpectedly blunt: "there were many mornings where I woke up, looked at my wife, and didn't feel a single spark of romance. i was tired, or she was irritable, or life was simply heavy."
when asked if that lack of "feeling" worried him, he shook his head.
"i didn't marry a feeling," he explained. "i married a human being. On the days the feeling went missing, i simply worked harder to serve her. i made the coffee exactly how she liked it.
i listened to her stories even if I’d heard them a dozen times. i chose to act like a man in love until the feeling decided to show back up."
i learned the same lesson from my father and the men in my community : real love isn't something you find; it's something you build when you’d rather be doing something else.

It’s not about whether a man sends $20 or $5,000 for lunch it’s the fact that he thought of you and sent something without being asked. Same way you wake up and your man already filled your tank. That’s a love language. Effort. Consideration. Intentionality.
