i’m learning to be okay with the “no’s” from God. because in the end they’ve always lead me to a much better place than what i wanted for myself. learning that he often saves us from ourselves.

maybe the most simple truth we can hold on to today is that he sees us. in the midst of our mess, when we’re laying awake at 3am crying to the point it hurts, when it seems like nobody cares, God sees you. “i’m with you” is the song He’s been singing over us since the beginning.
