Every teacher has the potential to be World Class. You possess talents and strengths that are unique to you! You also have passions that make you unique! 5 teachers can teach five different ways and all still be World Class. Don’t let anyone limit your excellence!
A message from Mr. Perkins regarding school opening in August. All 3 school systems in Madison County will start with remote learning for all students.
For ‘20-21, we are ALL 1st year teachers, counselors, principals, assistant principals, & superintendents.
None of us have ever experienced what we are going to endure & accomplish this year.
We are all in this TOGETHER.
We’ll be our best.

Students need words of affirmation, but this fall teachers, staff, and admin are all going to need them. So, focus on building strong relationships and building each other up. It is going to take a team effort to build a positive school culture.
Admin, once school plans & back up plans are in place, make sure your priority is the support & morale of your staff. There has never been a time when it is more important. It should be your main focus for the entire school year.
For schools that are reopening, can we try to include the following
* have classes outdoors or in larger spaces like auditorium
* more recess outdoors
* lunch outside if possible
* get students moving, even if it’s standing by desk doing gonoodle
* keep specials in schedule
