USPS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO MAKE A PROFIT. It’s self-funded and it’s the only delivery service that reached EVERY SINGLE ADDRESS IN OUR COUNTRY.
Other carriers like FedEx/UPS/etc. also rely on USPS to deliver packages to their final destinations.
