when the first response to targeted racism toward YOUR students is "we don't even have that many international students" you have lost the plot entirely.
For those who don’t follow Texas politics that closely. This is our rather goofy Agricultural Commissioner incumbent who is using his office to issue official communications calling out Gov Greg Abbott for his undisclosed communications with Elon Musk (that Abbott is fighting in court to try and hide) and potential corruption. These communications likely include selling Boca Chica Texas State Park to SpaceX which Greg reportedly postponed until after the election in November.
Abbott endorsed against Sid Miller in the primary as Sid Miller has been a vocal critic of data centers. Albeit Sid has had some scandals of his own.
Okay not trying to be too woke but maybe I am but Y'all dont get to enjoy banger songs from India while the whole footy twitter is filled people who dont even take racism against Indians seriously .
Houston’s Hindu community is speaking out as anti-Indian and anti-Hindu rhetoric grows in conservative circles. Some are reconsidering their political loyalties. https://t.co/ZF8fayi5gT

@sriramk Nikita manipulated engagement numbers in X by bringing in the crowd from 4Chan, from all over the world, who live online 24x7, to spread all kinds of filth. He needs to get it fixed and bring real intellectual engagement back to platform.

Folks,
I left Microsoft three months ago to start my own company. Two weeks after I left, my whole team in Australia was let go.
I see the hurt it’s causing my ex-colleagues, their families and their kids. Layoffs, forced relocations, PIPs. It’s brutal and I don’t want to brush past that.
But here’s my honest take.
Microsoft needs fewer people.
I’ve been on the inside. I’ve seen how things get built. Lots of small orgs. Layers on layers. Silos everywhere.
Here’s a real example.
The Entra team shipped managed identities back in 2017. No more secrets in code. A clear security win.
Then they tried to get the rest of Microsoft to adopt it. Very few teams did, and the ones that did moved at a snail’s pace. Every org had its own priorities and its own decision makers.
It took Microsoft getting hacked, and the Secure Future Initiative that followed, before things really moved.
Today almost every Microsoft app and service supports managed identity.
Six years, and a major breach, to get there.
In a world with agents and fewer people, that rollout would be possible across Microsoft in months, not years.
Microsoft already has everything else. The customers. The infrastructure. The scale.
What it needs is fewer people, leaning hard into agentic work.
Right now OpenAI and Anthropic are shipping at a pace Microsoft can’t match.
Microsoft has to change to survive.
@TexasSpectator@singhai look at these account dedicated to Indian hate- scroll down to see the dehumanizing way in which they speak about Indian origin people- why do these accounts exist? Isn’t this promoting targeted hate and harassment? was wrong with what the man did in this video anyway?
Ok this was a pretty well written article but I find people using it without any context. Indian Americans were one of the least Trump leaning racial minority groups in 2024 so I am begging people to understand that a "shift" in 2024 doesn't mean Indian Americans are Trumpers.
