A Fine Gael councillor stated that anyone who spoiled their vote last week in the presidential election, shouldn’t get state benefits. This is a ridiculous statement to make, assuming only those on benefits spoiled votes, secondly, he’s not hiding the fact that he believes that government should have control over people by cutting benefits if they don’t vote the way they want them to. Not a good look for FG or FF (as they are effectively the same party)

@Carra23 Why didn’t the ref go to the monitor for the Diaz goal?? Surely if it’s being checks and play is stopped he can see what the VAR lads are seeing!! This should be the way forward, Rugby always get the calls right with tries! It was absolutely farcical the officiating in the game!

The Dublin sweeper effectively cut out much of the ball sprayed into the full forward line which limited the Kerry chances! DC could of had another few points only he put them wide under no pressure
