I love roleplaying games, and I try to add to everyone's enjoyment when I play. If you're looking for a player for your #ttrpg, have a listen and see if I might fit!

Imagine that your ideal candidate wins this year's election. They enact all kinds of awesome reforms.
Then, in four years, someone who stands against everything you believe in gets elected.
That person will be immune from criminal prosecution for anything they do as president.
Sometimes what looks like laziness or carelessness is actually hopelessness or low self-esteem.
If I believe deep down that my efforts inevitably fail, my goal subconsciously becomes not to complete the actual task, but to do just enough that I won't be shamed for not trying.
@ayesharascoe Before the Sunday Story about the economics of video games, had you heard the term "pay to win?" You described those early Warframe transactions as "paying to win instead of playing to win."
It would be delightful if you happened upon that description yourself. 😁
I'm running Sentinel Comics RPG at this month's All-Inclusive RPG Night. It's a great event, especially for newcomers to roleplaying games. It starts at 6:00 this Friday at Game Kastle on Garfield Ave. https://t.co/tbdFa51ULf

It’s past time to learn to distinguish between the term evangelicals as a political sect and evangelistic people who preach Christ and only Christ and believe to their bones he’s the single solitary Savior of the world and the totality of all Christianity has and needs to thrive. Count me among the latter.
I wanna find a girlfriend who's into TTRPGs, but I'm afraid we would get into stupid fights about in-character stuff.
“I can't believe you took the kobolds' side. They tried to kill my familiar!”
“Well, maybe if you didn't send him into their lair—”
“Oh, now it's MY FAULT?”
Remember that show where a single mom takes over a struggling small business and forms a found family with the former owner and his adopted son? And they work hard to overcome brutal competition, theft, and their own hangups?
It was called TaleSpin.
