@Joshvmorales If football has longterm success, this statement is true. That’s the big one weighted more than anything for every school in the country. The next 3-5 years will make or break Tony Elliot, as well as your statement. I think it’s a reasonable, optimistic projection.
@InvestInOnG@rickjeff78 60-19 against teams not named OSU and Michigan is proving the opposite point you want it to. Sometimes you just lose and teams win on an upset. You can’t simultaneously be mad he didn’t beat teams better than you (OSU), but also mad that any team ever upset you with less talent
@The1Dobbs@ctfw529@AdamKinzinger@adamcarolla The tweet I was replying to was stating Fauci and Trump were on the same side opposed to Carolla (or anybody that thought Covid was handled disingenuously). The whole point is nobody can red vs blue this without being disingenuous.
@sullymygoodname@DanCronin18@audsnyder4 Trying to succeed vs not even fielding a team that compete in the league they are in are two different things, Sully. You’re not paying attention.
@coachjames29 And that is why “grass is greener” consistently works as a phrase. Just because someone convinces them they can “have more” doesn’t mean they will. In general, it’s predatory adults manipulating the minds of a weak, kneejerk society to benefit their own self-worth defined by wins
@SonsofSatVT As child of 90’s, it’s a borderline judgment deficit to not choose Vick. Deangelo Hall is up there. Corey Moore was the most dominant player I’ve ever seen on defense, so plenty of reverence for him. Vince Hall/Adibi as a package deal gets some love.
@TimWarrenTrades@VT4L_Joe KJ had plenty of equitable talent around him on those teams. I think your answer is right, but don’t totally agree on reason. I think the main difference between them was physical strength/build and receiving ability out of the backfield. Both elite talents.
@VT4L_Joe He gets underrepresented in these conversations, no doubt. Kevin Jones is still hard to pass on. David Wilson and Lee Suggs belong in that debate also. It’s realistically a 4 man conversation with a few others not mentioned that are just a tick behind them.
@G_Wimb@asc7c So because you had a single experience a decade ago, you have the pulse of the town? I think the folks who live there and rely on its economy don’t mind as much as you think. There are always a few complainers.
@ShootyH00ps@NfcCommissioner@JonRothstein Buzz will win when left alone and you embrace the personal branding tweaks to your program. If you fight it or lose patience the way so many already have, you’re going to risk cutting it off at the knees. Buzz requires a uniquely harsh culture change, but it always pays off.
@fauxjimmysexton@Brett_McMurphy Every season, teams that win in November will tell you they won those games in July. The distinction is that almost everyone thinks they won the offseason, but who actually did and who’s having to convince themselves they did? Not the only factor, but offseason progress matters.
@SirMantonio@BOOSIEOFFICIAL I’m sure pardons are for sale, especially right now. But you’re right—he’s not getting it back or his pardon probably . This is like the lady who called the cops to get her $20 when she didn’t get the drugs she was trying to buy.
@HendrickD82 You want me to tell you about a gentleman named Sepp Blatter. This false ivory tower of ethics you people stand on is unreal. The situation just exposed that every suspension penalty should have oversight the way every other sport does. The fact they don’t is their own fault.
@asolerperez28@YahooSports The injured party? So the guy getting suspended unjustly? Belgium just has to play a US squad at full strength the way it should be. How are they an injured party?
