And if Christ is not alive, you are still lost in your sins and your faith is a fantasy. (1 Cor. 15:17)
It's because of Jesus' resurrection that I am forgiven!
Faith in God makes all things possible! And my faith is not a fantasy but genuine & effective, & all b/c He is risen!
As Christians our hope is not in this life only! If this life is it, then "let's party all night, for tomorrow we die." No, our hope is in the resurrection of the dead where we will all be transformed and will forever be with the Lord.
(1 Cor. 15:31-32, 51-52)
"We know we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord ...." (1 Cor. 15:58)
What an assurance as I follow Jesus that each new season I will prosper and excel by continuing to serve the Lord in whatever capacity He has opened the door to me in that new season!
“Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved.” (Romans 10:1)
This was Paul’s desire and prayer for the Jewish people. I pray this often over the Jewish people too! Rescue them from their sin through Jesus Christ.
