@MavsHighlights@seanbush3 I absolutely agree with your Wagler take here - as an Illinois alum, I watched a ton of Wagler this year. The athleticism may be an issue. But, he analyzes tendencies and gets to spots through strategy and outthinking guys. In that respect, I think of 77. Give me Wagler.
@SportsSturm I have spent (and spend) a huge amount of time listening over the past 26 years. I don’t think you’re usually the guy to miss the boat on someone being awful to someone else. Sounds like you’re already doubling down though so color me disappointed for wanting better.
I am legitimately sick to my stomach over a sports trade - because on some level, this was about community ownership for me. We hitch our wagons to the spirit of things around us, and Luka was that here. He was the spirit of this franchise, sent off to the Empire.
I love PJ. Want him to work on that handle this off-season.
The Celtics are really good - but the little push-off screens they do make them nearly unstoppable.
@971TheFreak As a long time Ticket P1, I tuned in from day 1 of The Freak, splitting my time between my old fave and my new. I’m sorry this dream had to end. So many genuine, awesome personalities who shared their talent and lives with us each day. Irish blessings to you all.
@TheDunkCentral A team that thrives on spacing and 3 point shooting…adding Mr. Midrange (DeRozan) would likely hurts the offense while trading away 2/3 of Mavs centers would cripple interior defense and rebounding, which are already team weaknesses. Not a fan of the trade ideas.
@noahvnelson ESPN analytics can generate those “odds” because it drives interactions and content. Checked Vegas odds and they have Clips tied for 5th best odds, which seems closer to fair.
