Thanks to all who have expressed a willingness to support FlyBase. The wheels of bureaucracy are large and grind slowly. We expect to have a fee process in place by July.
We have a call for support that has gone out to European labs, to support FlyBase-UK. We're asking our colleagues from labs in the US other countries to wait for a similar call to them that will go out in the near future, to support the US sites. We thank you for your patience.

IU trustee Winston reveals that when trustees chair Buckner issued a statement of support for Whitten, he lied that it was unanimous and failed to consult all board members. Winston also criticizes Whitten’s “toxic” “culture of fear.” https://t.co/1EANmbKuIB
Evidently the Dunn Meadow policy on the website that IU keeps citing and hastily amended to squash free speech isn’t the official 1969 policy. @IUBloomington@IUBiology
IU says it acted on a 1969 policy when police enforced a last-minute rule change at a protest. But the actual Dunn Meadow policy doesn't reference committees or limits on structures. In fact, what’s on IU's website isn’t the policy at all @WFIUWTIUNews
