@CHCHNews @seancowantv This is the guy in the Strathcona area 2 nights ago.

[Brian Galama @BrianGalama]

@CP24 He ran out of the Jeep on York Blvd into the Hamilton Cemetery. Where there was a shootout and he was killed. That’s a busy cemetery, many people in the Strathcona neighbourhood including myself go for walks in it every day. I’m grateful no one else was killed.

@NHL “We are going to call the playoffs the same as the regular season” @hockeynight @NHL_On_TNT

Being Hockey Day in Canada, I thought I’d pull out my stick collection for the first time since Covid hit us. Here is almost 300 years of hockey stick evolution. Happy Hockey Day!! @NHL @HockeyHallFame @CoachsCornerDC @hometownhockey_ #HockeyDay #hockeydayincanada @RonMacLeanHTH

@MLangHockey Hi Marcel, Hope all is well. I actually don’t have just one large UV photo of the stick, but hundreds of photos of small areas of writing using various methods. Here is just a few photos. Also there is a few Discovery Channel videos on YouTube if you want to check them out.

Photo shoot of the hockey stick from the 1700s that the 44th (Thomas Gage) and 35th Regiments of Foot had in North America. @TeamGBicehockey @IIHFHockey @NHLPA #hockey @TaraSlone @RonMacLeanHTH @CoachsCornerDC

@TedNesNA @TaraSlone @HockeyHallFame Thats a great lunch box! Its not just the HHOF, I've tried reaching out to levels of government for advice and access to resources. No one seems to care. Did you know in the 18th century the soldiers were playing for mugs - your the 5th person in Canada to know this lol.

[Tara Slone @TaraSlone]

Okay, something is deeply wrong here... how can we help?! These trophies belong in the @HockeyHallFame, not in somebody’s basement. History is on the verge of being lost. Ideas, #HockeyTwitter ??? #CWHL #NoLeague

[Sheffield Steelers @steelershockey]

Sheffield 🛫 Toronto - No playoff tickets.
Toronto 🛫 Boston - Game 2 of Round 1

What a gesture from @MapleLeafs to fly these two lucky Steelers fans to Boston on Saturday night for game 2 of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

@lyndagalama @HockeyHallFame @MapleLeafs @NHL @HockeyCanada @IIHFHockey @CanadiensMTL The stick was at the siege of Fort William Henry in 1757.

[Brian Galama @BrianGalama]

Here is a behind the scenes look at the stick from the 1700s going through a CT scan and having a 3D model made. This helped verify that the stick was made in the 1700s - not reclaimed wood. @HockeyHallFame @NHL #hockey @BauerHockey @CCMHockey @MapleLeafs @hockeynight

I haven't been able to track one down yet, but while researching my hockey sticks, I found some sister cups to the Stanley Cup in England for Billiards, Bowling, Golf. I did however find a medal that was awarded in the Liverpool area. @HockeyHallFame @hockeyday #hockeyday @NHL

Sticks from British Soldiers dating to the mid 18th century, to a modern one piece composite stick. Here is about 250 years of hockey stick evolution. Guess which stick is the oldest? @nhl @iihf #hockey @hockeynight @TSNHockey @HockeyCanada @RonMacLeanHTH

Here is a little bit of what the British soldiers were writing on the stick from the 1700s. Even some of the 35th Regiment's fibres are still on the stick. Looks like they may have been playing for a mug? @HockeyHallFame @HockeyCanada @hockeynight @NHL @NHLPA @IIHFHockey #hockey
