If you’ve read this and applied it only to people who oppose your political beliefs, you’ve missed the entire point. No one solves a systemic social problem by applying it in a partisan way solely to their opponents.
Look to those within your own partisan or social belief system, identify hateful behavior, and reject it. This requires much more bravery and maturity than only speaking out about your opposition.
That is the only way that this disordered approach to public discourse can be repudiated.
The current strain of political extremism originating from all sides can’t be understood by looking only at belief systems. You have to look at emotional wellness too.
About one in four people suffer from an emotional health disorder that is diagnosable.
Of that 25% of the population, about another 25% have a disorder that would be classified as serious. Most serious emotional health classifications include: Schizophrenia and psychotic disorders, Bipolar disorder, Severe major depressive disorder, Borderline personality disorder, and
Severe Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
That means that roughly one in 12 people you encounter every day suffer from a serious emotional health disorder, and many of them are either undiagnosed or choose not to seek help.
They are standing in front of you in plain sight, but you may not see them.
Determining for yourself which of these individuals are promulgating irrational and often disturbed beliefs requires a willingness to step back from their social endorsements, and their dedication to their own ideas, and just applying a test of basic behavior.
Are their beliefs grounded in division and hatred? Do they require faith in evidence you can’t see, motivations among hidden people that don’t make logical sense, or the broad application of tropes to entire nationalities or ethnicities?
Congratulations, you may have just found someone working out their own emotional disorder in social media.
On Rush Limbaugh‘s birthday, there is still so much wisdom in how he remained true to himself, and how he avoided paying attention to anyone who would distract him from his own mission. Happy birthday, Rush.

Ashley St. Clair is leading the fight against the creation of sexualized images of women and children using AI tools. Ashley has now been quoted and interviewed by most major broadcast networks and influential publications.
Artificial intelligence is one of the most powerful technologytools ever put in the hands of the public. But with that comes tremendous responsibility for those who create the tools… Including Elon Musk and Grok. Ashley is on the leading edge of this conversation.

Regulatory compliance is a reputational risk that plays out in shareholder value. It's not enough to be "up to date" in a fast changing climate. You need to be "ahead of the curve," anticipate what could be coming, and have a plan. Are you wargaming scenarios, and do your stakeholder know how to respond in the first news cycle? https://t.co/tjcP0AhcGm
@HistoryDean Thank you, Dean. I have been dealing with cowards like "Shadow of Ezra," who hide in anonymity, for decades. There's an old saying, "You're as sick as your secrets."
