MSM lied about Iraq, Syria, Libya, Russia, Russiagate, Trump, vaccines, ukraine, climate, Epstein, the Bidens'...... but we should definitely still trust them
@Xhausteder@jackunheard@POTUS Hey @grok
Was the Shah of Iran corrupt and did he have any torture prisons?
Also, was this in the 1970s, when (apparently) Iran was "flourishing?"
Also, also - in what circumstances did he come to power?
JUST IN: Christopher Nolan says The Odyssey adaptation was designed to move beyond the “cultural prejudices” associated with the ancient world and resonate with diverse modern audiences.
So in other words, he ruined the movie.
The UK last built a public water reservoir in 1992.
The population has increased by over 10 million in the intervening years. Including a surge of immigration.
Now, the state has the cheek to announce a hosepipe ban. Why is that necessary?
Because no infrastructure has been built to cope with the expanding population.
It rained for the whole of January but not enough reservoirs to catch the water.
Our governments have been absolutely and unrelentingly crap. Short-termist.
Only interested in importing cheap labour. Not a care for the people who live here and want things to work as they do in a civilized country.
The next reservoir, in Havant, is not scheduled for completion till the early 2030s.
Prepare for more hosepipe bans and collapsing sewers.
Britain urgently needs an effective ruling class before we slide into a failed state.
So just to be clear: a US Senator can disappear off the face of the planet and there’s nothing ANYBODY can do about it?
The people of Kentucky are just told to sit down and shut up while half of their Senators are MIA?
Complete bullsht.
While Washington poured trillions into one military intervention after another, China observed this stupidity and chose a different course.
Instead of exhausting its resources on prolonged wars and damaging its standing abroad, it invested in its own people, expanding education, strengthening healthcare, and building world-class infrastructure.
One nation devoted decades to projecting military power; the other focused on building economic and technological strength.
Today, the contrast in outcomes is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.
They didn't "force" you to take the jab.
They just fired you if you didn't take the jab.
They didn't "force" you to take the jab.
They just excluded you from planes, trains and buses if you didn't take the jab.
They didn't "force" you to take the jab.
They just refused you entry to restaurants, stores and other public-accessible locations if you didn't get the jab.
There is not cure for stupid.
Imagine if the Make America Great Again administration had stuck to its campaign promises of no more foreign wars and DOGE agenda.
They wouldn’t have wasted taxpayer’s hard earned dollars, drained our oil reserves, and wouldn’t be demanding $1.5 TRILLION more dollars for war!
Riots in Lviv over the brutal forced conscription financed by NATO.
- The majority of Ukrainians want immediate negotiations to end the war. They are obviously not in the minds of our political-media establishment, who claim to "stand with Ukraine", while boycotting diplomacy and pushing for a long war.
Iran bombed ships going through the Strait of Hormuz so Trump bombs Iran, and oil prices start rising again and the stock market goes down making buying opportunities ripe again.
Then Trump goes back to saying he bombed Iran because “Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.”
Repeats it at least 60 times to the press today.
I didn’t realize Iran’s nuclear program was in the Strait of Hormuz controlling oil.
Feels more like post 9/11 Bush era Middle East war lies and war economy politics than any real concern about Iran having a nuclear weapon much like Iraq having weapons of mass destruction.
Literally what we voted to end from the Republican Party.
322 Labour members of Parliament have nominated Andy Burnham for leader.
He will become PM unchallenged. This is still unacceptable right @DavidLammy?
We need a General Election NOW.
I still can't work out why it is apparently essential that Andy Burnham, and ONLY Andy Burnham, *must* be Prime Minister of the United Kingdom without any member of the public having a say in the matter.
Fears of a human-caused collapse of the Gulf Stream are fading as hard data reveal a major role for natural variation, writes Chris Morrison in the Climate Skeptic. Another Net Zero scare bites the dust. https://t.co/PDS8BTpsb4
