@NathanEvanss Thanks, Nathan! Your shanties have brought a lightness and a joy to my wife's and my days. We can't stop singing it. We're delighted by your success and the new, unifying shanty movement. We love it.
Just because Christianity can be done poorly, doesn’t mean it can’t be done well.
Jesus had a simple instruction:
“Follow me.”
Not storm the castle, or make your country “great,” or secure your own rights. Just...
“Follow me.”
We can do that. 🙂
@UCEklund@ceIegorm Me too! I think he's fascinating, and the image of his house at night with that golden light pouring out of it has always stuck with me as the essence of safe homyness. I quote him occasionally, too (or at least my poor memories of his words).
@paulrobichaux Maybe if you enter an invalid PIN enough times it'll give you the option to do a factory reset? You'll want to verify this before trying so that you don't effectively brick the phone for years waiting for an unlock. 😀
As a lifelong Republican, I 100% agree with what Stephen Colbert is saying and is part of why I didn't vote for Donald Trump this year. President Trump's behavior has been unacceptable and should not be tolerated by any of us. We demand more and better of our president.
"For evil to succeed, all that is necessary is for good men to do nothing."

Wow. Really excellent analysis, asking the right questions. The treatment of the 17yo murderer vs. Jacob Blake is really, really telling. Absolutely shameful and outrageous!
“Why was Jacob Blake seen as a deadly threat for a theoretical gun, while this gunman, who had already shot people, was arrested the next day and treated like a human being whose life matters?”
