The past year kicked my ass in ways I didn't expect.
I tried things because I needed them to work. I chased ideas because I believed in them. I posted when I was broke, pissed off, excited, lost, building, rebuilding, and trying to figure out what the hell I was doing next.
I don't have some clean lesson from all of it. I just know I made it through shit I wasn't sure I would.
I don't know exactly where this goes next. I just know I'm not going back.
Spent part of today finally giving Nightcoder Designs its own LinkedIn page.
Weird seeing it sitting there as its own thing.
For a long time ND was basically me, a pile of repos, half-built systems, research, good ideas, bad ideas, and a refusal to stop fucking with things until they made sense.
It’s still not some huge company pretending to be more than it is.
But it’s starting to feel like something that can stand on its own.
Also open to paid expert-network interviews, technical research, and evaluation work involving industrial automation, mechatronics, plant systems, electronics, or technical operations.
I’m opening a few evening, weekend, and project hours for technical work.
I’m most useful on problems that cut across hardware, software, and operations: automation, electronics, troubleshooting, Linux/infrastructure, technical support, testing, QA, and documentation.
I’m not looking to stack another 20 hours a week. I’m looking for work where a few focused hours can actually move the problem forward.
Remote or project-based preferred. If you’ve got something technical that doesn’t fit neatly into one job title, DM me.
WHO THE HELL IS NIGHTCODER DESIGNS?
Good question.
So far: art, code, questionable decisions, Web3 rabbit holes, AI, and an alarming refusal to quit.
Seems to be working.
Some fires destroy the map. Others reveal the ink.
The trick is knowing whether you are lost, being tested, or quietly becoming the thread someone else will follow.
Onchain reality:
Nobody cares how clean your code is.
Nobody cares who audited it.
Users + incentives will explore every state you didn’t.
If your contract can’t survive that, failure isn’t a risk, it’s scheduled.
What if the patterns you chase aren't out there in the world...
but the world is just mirroring the ones already looping inside your head?
Pause.
Look at the last 'random' coincidence you noticed.
Was it really random... or did you need it to make sense?
Reply if it just hit different.
I don’t believe in destiny.
But it is funny that my palm lines form a π, and I spend my life chasing patterns, edge cases, and systems that never quite repeat.
Pareidolia?
Zoom in. Tell me what you think.
Some ideas don’t come from ambition,
they come from memory.
Not the kind you lived,
the kind you remember anyway.
Old patterns.
Future echoes.
Dreams that feel like instructions.
I don’t chase visions.
I build the bridges they walk across.
