Here's my version of "Sugar" by Stanley Turrentine. I played the chords on the loop sampler (not shown) before playing the head and some improvised solos.
The m-dash (—) has become a shibboleth identifying you as an AI plagiarist. I started my blog back in 2013, and my m-dash use was considerable. I published about forty 3000-word essays on music, music history, and music technology. All include at least one m-dash, so now I look like an illiterate clown. https://t.co/YRD9Z8A77r
Dear Tech Companies,
Stop making ear buds or headphones that have touch controls. I never want the player to stop or the volume to be changed when I touch the device. 100 percent of the time I am only adjusting the fit, not attempting to stop the player. You’ve must’ve heard this criticism before, so just stop manufacturing your devices with annoying features.
Sincerely,
Every Human on Earth
I like the part of the Declaration where Jefferson lists the King’s “Injuries and Usurpations” using the rhetorical device, “HE has…” Cicero would’ve been proud.
@colin_dunlap I call it the “guy, man, dude” problem. What’s up, man? Dude, how’s it going? Sup, guy? I usually just bite the bullet, apologize, and ask them their name.
Here's my version of "Have You Met Miss Jones" from Joe Pass' album, Virtuoso. It's a composite of three takes. I couldn't quite get a completely perfect run through. Trying to play like Pass in an exercise in humility.
