The difference between a metabolism relying on backup stress or thyroid energy systems comes down to that point where metabolism meets demand. If demand gets handled, it can be beneficial. If not, the backup systems kick in, and the situation...is not optimal.
Now, Chabad is, of course, not Neturei Karta, those fakers who dress up as Orthodox Jews, but who are in reality traitors to the Jewish people, who hate Israel and who meet with genocidal fiends like Ahmadinejad of Iran.

A significant body of scientific literature has shown a direct relationship between sugar, sorry, I mean polyunsaturated fat consumption and the promotion of pancreatic cancer...as well as numerous other cancers.
I was amazed when I searched through the studies on diabetes, insulin resistance, and related issues. I kept finding out more about the breakdown products of PUFAs, and bacterial endotoxin, cortisol, nitric oxide, lactic acid, inflammation, and of course...stress in general.
People talk about diabetes like they think they are talking about sugar. It's a form of self-hypnosis. Diabetes involves sugar, but sugar is the victim...not the perpetrator.
The upside-down theory that if something rises under stress, more must also be helpful, helps keep false beliefs about the impact on the metabolism of estrogen, serotonin, nitric oxide, cortisol, lactate, and breakdown products of PUFAs alive. Still...it doesn't do much for you.
Sugar fuels the systems that protect you against parasites, but like all living things, they want sugar. So if you don't eat it, they will get it elsewhere in your system...and that's always worse.
You can’t talk about disease without talking about bacterial endotoxin. And you can’t speak about endotoxin without talking about serotonin, estrogen, nitric oxide, histamine, and lactate.
Rising levels are involved in the promotion of...the "cancer metabolism".
Just because white sugar wasn’t available in the local grocery store, in one-kilo bags, for three dollars, four thousand years ago, that’s not proof that you can’t use sugar...therapeutically and very effectively.
Restrictive diets, which sometimes lead to rapid weight loss, tend to encourage inflammation and thyroid suppression, often eventually causing more weight gain than was lost, favouring fat deposition...rather than muscle development.
Sugar shaming and blaming don’t help people lose weight. But restricting sugar will eventually increase stress, slow thyroid, and damage metabolism. Weight gain is then often the result. But,
unfortunately...it is taking fewer and fewer calories to do it.
Menopause is a thyroid deficient, progesterone deficient, "estrogen dominant" state, with estrogen trapped inside tissue and not showing up in blood tests. But only if you...look at the biology.
