@NorthBankNadim Imagine being told in June that Martinelli, Trossard and Jesus would leave, Nwaneri would be loaned out, and Tzolis would be the only attacking arrival.
You'd have called it a catastrophe. Don't rewrite history now. This window has been an absolute failure from top to bottom.

@NinoSangani 6.5???....what have you been smoking? 🚬. Everyone knew and agreed even Mikel that the Board and Recruitment Team had one job to do and that was upgrade the attack, which they have failed. This I a debacle, 4/10 at best. Don't forget they have had 3 windows to fix the attack.
@Danarsenal87 Dan...Mikel is a great manager but his attacking ID over the last few years has been shocking. He's as much to blame for this as the rest. We signed Madueke instead of Semenyo because "he wanted him".
@northbanklower Bro, stop gaslighting. Arsenal spending 100 mill in January window....give us a break. Admit this has been a debacle interms of attacking signings.
£52M for one of the worst wingers in the top 6, but overpaying for Barcola is where we suddenly draw the line? Someone explain that level of hypocrisy to us, @jamesmcnicholas, when you drop your obligatory PR puff piece tonight.
Pardo. Fofana. Ndiaye. Mbaye.
Nobody improves our attack apparently.
It’s Alv, Vini or bust according to our manager who felt Nelli and Leo were good enough for years.
@GoonerTaIk Stop gaslighting. They wasted 25 days on Alvarez who had told us he's not coming. Add the Rogers thing and not trying for Barcola. It's a debacle
@charles_watts I'm not so sure Charles. Have you read Pythagoras analysis on Dortmund's formation and this loan? I feel he should have been loaned to the Prem, somewhere like Bournemouth or Brighton.
@GoonerTaIk Honestly the club have had two years to get a proper LW. That's the frustration. Every year. Havertz, Madueke, Eze on the left. FFS. Tzolis is good but we'll run him into the ground like JT coz we didn't sign good cover.
@Danarsenal87 This was the plan all along. Pretend to go for unrealistic targets then say we tried/showed ambition. There was plenty of left wingers we could have signed that would have been better the Martinelli.
@EBL2017 Excuse makers like you have allowed this club to get away with not investing in the foreword line properly for too long. When it comes to defensive signings they leave no stone unturned and even upgrade when the options are okay. Why is this management allergic to signing a LW.
