Thoughts on The Odyssey: A masterful adaptation of Homer’s text. Nolan’s directing, technical aspects, top notch performances, editing, and one of the best third acts I’ve seen in years, locked me in throughout. This is a masterpiece and I don’t say it often, go see this in IMAX.

Thoughts on Evil Dead Burn: Another entertaining entry in the franchise. It’s my least favorite of the movies but it still captures the mannerisms of the Deadites, the camerawork, directing, blood and gore violence, and the lore. If you’re a fan of the movies, go see this one.

Thoughts on The Invite: Welcome Back Olivia Wilde: Her directing, top notch performances, razor sharp script, very smooth and laidback pacing, humor, and themes are outstanding. It redeems Wilde after her last movie and it’s one of the year’s best. Check this one out.

Thoughts on Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass: A enjoyable and refreshing Dumb Comedy. The tone isn’t for everyone but when the jokes landed, it was funny, Deutch was a pretty good, and it’s only 90 minutes. Welcome back David Wain, this was good and check this one out.

Thoughts on Jackass: Best and Last: A very good conclusion for the main cast. The movie is like an album with the band’s greatest hits with new singles in there. The new footage was good and funny, it was a good time and fans of the show and movies won’t be disappointed.

Thoughts on Supergirl: It’s a big old piece of trash. Alcock and moments involving Krypton were good, everything else is shit. The atrocious script, uninspired look/visuals, a terrible villain, and repetitive action is why the movie is shit. Don’t spend your money for this shit.

Thoughts on The Death of Robin Hood: A slow burn and somber character study. The tone, cinematography, performances, and the pacing were good. Some of the emotional moments didn’t always work for me towards the second half but I still recommend checking it out at some point.

Thoughts on Toy Story 5: It’s still strong and relevant 31 years later. The Buzz Lightyear subplot is meaningless but the rest of the movie is emotional, funny, beautifully animated, great vocal performances, and has very thoughtful thematic material. I definitely recommend it.

Thoughts on Disclosure Day: A flawed but decent effort by Spielberg. Doesn’t have strong characterization and some of his tropes were obvious but the performances, score, pacing, and directing were good. It’s not his best film but an ambitious and thought provoking film to watch.

Thoughts on The Furious: An absolute amazing and bloody great time at the theaters. The plot is very simple and straightforward but the execution was outstanding! The action choreography, pacing, camera work, and directing here was great and it’s a must see in theaters.

Thoughts on Masters of the Universe: This movie doesn’t completely have the power. The badass score, some of the acting and action were good. But the Marvel humor, messy script, pacing, and CGI is what holds this film back from being something amazing. Just wait to watch at home.

@NFL I'm happy the wait is over and didn't give up that much to get him which is a plus. He's going to help our offense and flourish with Maye to still be a competitive team in the AFC going forward. But I'm realistic and let's see if we win the division again or not.

Bombshell: The Browns are finalizing a trade that will send two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams, per @rapsheet, @TomPelissero and me.

In exchange for Garrett, the Rams are expected to send Pro-Bowl edge Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick and other draft-pick compensation still being negotiated to the Browns.
