@danctheduck Great paraphrase.
I think of it as an optimization algorithm that *should* be running isolated inside of a VM running on a host OS of legislation, but due to political bugs reaches out to it's host OS and affects the rules governing it's own VM, causing many, many problems.
Havenโt tweeted since 2018. Apparently I donโt like having opinions in public anymore. For you, Iโll go out on a limb now, though: This covid-19 thing sucks, and Iโd like it to end.
@Runkeeper It sucks quite a lot that you split the iOS App from the Apple Watch app. The old way was significantly better. I'd be happy to give you many reasons why :)
@SpotifyCares Have been unable to listen to Spotify for days, because of "Can't play the current song" error - tried: reinstalling, log in/out, hardware accel, etc - nothing works.
Can you help me solve this? (couldn't find a support email)

Keyboard: [ Regular ][ Give me TouchID, but throw the Touchbar into the sun ]!
@ID_AA_Carmack@mike_acton Stuff that shows the hidden cost of language features: Build a memory allocator from scratch. Unravel a callstack manually. Learn about branch prediction hardware. Build your own vtable based polymorphism.
@elonmusk I ran some of FRVRs games in my Teslaโs browser. Would be fun to work on getting them natively on the center touch screen :)

Iโve been thinking a lot about why most gamedevs - even extremely awesome and experienced ones - fail to turn their work into a good business. Thoughts? #gamedev
@krolldk@loeffe Yup, the low success rate of games in general ends up insuring that publishing deals will end up being balanaced in a way that makes it unlikely you'll ever reach "financial escape velocity".
