@M_Harding_ That I could even ask shows you how long it's been since my toes touched a pedalboard. (And the delay in saying this shows you how long it's been since last I logged into whatever this site is called nowadays.)
In case you missed it:
Ted Cruz is on tape plotting to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power.
Abby Grossberg claims Tucker used his anchor-ship at Fox News to blackmail Republican politicians into doing his bidding.
highly recommend working in social services in the US or Canada if it has somehow always been your dream to spend your lifetime trying and failing to solve incredibly expensive social problems that Finland solved decades ago for like $4/year
@HanaMichels@jeremyfrankly I see that someone is too cheap to comp his own (parody) mother a blue check. (Or maybe he's just waiting for her to die?) 🤪

British imperialism show could be Bollywood’s answer to Succession
It is Game of Thrones meets Succession, a vicious cocktail of battles and brutality, treasure and treachery. The pitch for the next big drama series sounds like high fantasy, but it centres not on imaginary moguls but real-life Mughals. The history of the East India Company (EIC) is coming to a screen near you.
The Anarchy, William Dalrymple’s acclaimed history of the EIC’s rise from Elizabethan trading company to rulers of India, is set to become an international TV series after it was acquired by a former Disney executive who is one of Bollywood’s biggest producers.
“The idea is to do it on a massive scale,” Dalrymple told The Times. “Either you don’t do it or you do it guns blazing with a cast of a thousand elephants.”

Good morning
Bed Bath & Beyond blew one billion dollars on stock buybacks, a direct cash transfer to shareholders, in 2021.
Now it's bankrupt, in no small part because of that $1B hole, and....no severance for workers who've been there for 20 years.

Something has gone terribly wrong when Fox News can claim a tax write-off for its $787M defamation settlement, yet school teachers only get a measly $300 deduction for buying their own supplies.
