Don’t apologize my friend sorry if I came across defensive. I totally agree you can’t compare the reasonings for these 2 changes since they are dramatically different. Was just trying to highlight that fact we haven’t seen a team win and make a change in that very season since OpTic 4 years ago. Circumstances aside just the pure fact of seeing a team change.
The last time we saw a team make numerous changes in the same season of a major tournament victory was OpTic Texas in Vanguard going from iLLeY ➡️ Prolute ➡️ General ➡️ iLLeY.
If the Paris Gentlemates go forward with this squad wipe, they would have officially made more roster changes than they did last year as the 11th seed LAG Gentlemates who went 6-26 during the regular season.
What? I’m simply saying we haven’t seen team make changes following a win since that OpTic squad. The reasonings were totally different and everybody should understand that. It’s rare for a championship winning team to change rosters that very season, we’ve only seen it twice in 7 years. Definitely didn’t intend on my post being controversial at all.
@iamAiric Yes I had to specify “in the same season” because what we saw with OpTic following their 2024 world championship win was crazy. Pred benched after 2 games. Kenny dropped. Skyz and Huke in. Skyz dropped for Mercules. The rest is history
Extremely difficult decision but I’m not gonna going to give Heretics as much flak as the TL is. At the end of the day they placed 6th, 8th, and 8th in their 3 events. They are currently 19-20 in the 8th seed. Traix was sadly always going to be the odd man out with RenKor/SupeR as the star duo and Mettalz having been with the Heretics since 2018. What I don’t understand is why he was dropped and not kept on the bench in case they are horrendous during Stage 4.
Huke’s first finals appearance was at UMG Orlando 2015 (Jan, 4, 2015) against none other than FormaL and OpTic. Who would’ve guessed 11 and a half years later they’d be making content with each other teaming up together.
Miami Heretics will now be transitioning back to their core-four of SupeR, RenKoR, ReeaL, and Mettalz. This team had an 18-9 match record and never placed worse than 4th at a major tournament.
Major 3 2025: 4th
Major 4 2025: 3rd
Champs 2025: 4th
EWC 2025: 4th
Traix has the 2nd most series wins out of all BO7 rookies (19), which is tied for the 10th most series wins for a rookie in all of CDL history. Hope he lands on his feet 🙏

Today we are parting ways with @traaixx.
We're grateful for the effort and the work Nico has put during these months. We wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors 🧡

@EnoshimaAJ Kenny is 1 of 4 players to have back to back 2nds at Champs:
Rambo - 2013 & 2014
Kenny - 2018 & 2019
Enable - 2018 & 2019
Priestahh - 2019 & 2020
@DanielDona59813 Yes he’d be a perfect 4-0. I find it wild that all 4 3x champs are a perfect 3-0. If OpTic win Dashy & Huke also become 3-0. Simp or aBeZy can become the first 3x world champ who doesn’t have a perfect record in the finals
Most Champs rings:
Shotzzy - 3 (2020, 2024, 2025)
Clayster - 3 (2015, 2019, 2020)
Crimsix - 3 (2014, 2017, 2020)
Karma - 3 (2013, 2014, 2017)
Most Champs finals appearances:
Simp - 4 (2019-2022)
aBeZy - 4 (2019-2022)
Kenny - 4 (2018, 2019, 2022, 2024)
JKap - 4 (2013, 2015-2017)
We can see numerous all-time records broken at Champs this year. Shotzzy can become the first 4x world champ. Simp and aBeZy are vying for their record 5th Champs finals appearance and record-tying 3rd win. Dashy & Huke also are looking for their 3rd ring with a perfect 3-0 record in the finals.
@PatrickL_27@ZooMaa Cmon man you’re gonna make the bosch hate me! I said arguably. Right now that convo is ZooMaa, Enable, Gunless, Scrap imo. Excluding MerK and BigT since they didn’t compete during the Champs era for long enough
