Today ends a tremendous final spring tennis season for this CF team. Starting the season many counted us out and these girls proved everyone wrong! Top 8 as a team and Addison, Indre and Maddie making it to state in individuals. As a coach I couldn’t be more proud! @CFHSGoTigers
CF Tigers fell to Waterloo West 4-5. Came down to the wire at #2 doubles with a tough loss, 6-7(4), 6-3, 8-10. Lots of spirit on the sidelines with even the “wave” to celebrate a great shot! Next meet is At Jefferson on Tuesday. @CFHSGoTigers
CF Girls had a fantastic day posting 5-4 win over Linn-Mar and 9-0 win over Ankeny Centennial today at Byrnes Park! @CFHSGoTigers@CF_Booster@Nelley13 Tigers at home tomorrow against ICWest. GO Tigers!
Highlighting Ayla Suiter for her tremendous start as a freshman. Ayla had a silver set and only dropped 3 points in her Sat AM singles match. Not sure we’ve had that happen at any position. She has 4 singles wins to date and a tremendous future ahead of her! @CFHSGoTigers
@CoachHack2 To be fair, he wasn’t their first pick, he was their second. And when they offered him he refused. It was only when their third pick turned them down, that they went back and offered him a deal he couldn’t refuse.
@CoachHack2 All of the B1G offenses were playing against all of the B1G defenses that year, and Iowa was ranked #2 in the B1G in scoring. So saying that Iowa was somehow playing 2nd and 3rd string defenses while the rest of the B1G must have been playing better ones is just disingenuous.
