This isn’t about cultural norms, political agendas, or soapboxes. This is about us reflecting the Kingdom and the communities we serve. These are some of the keys I've learned. What would you add to the list? #coaching#teambuilding#culture#healthyteams
Why should #ministryleaders be talking about #diversity in their spheres of influence? The beautiful picture of Heaven in Revelation 7:9-10 is your answer. But how do you position your team to invite and embrace that diversity?
🧵 Here are three #leadership keys:
‼️ Note: those that don’t fit the mold will generally leave it before they break it. Lead with openness to new expressions and ideas, and be vocal in your invitation and affirmation of them.
The right culture helps sustain the outcomes a great strategy produces. The wrong culture erodes them.
The right strategy energizes the healthy culture that supports it. An ineffective strategy demoralizes it.
When something needs to be addressed with those we lead, we have two options: speak or shrink. When we shrink back, we make actually make space for more damage to be done. Choose to be courageous and love them enough to say something.

The #SBC needs the mindset of John 3:30, “He must increase, but I must decrease.”
More humility, less power.
More evangelism, less liberal-bashing.
More forgiveness, less blaming.
More witnessess, fewer patriots.
More Kingdom, less cultural Christianity.
More Unity.
More #Jesus.
