🇷🇺Putin: Russia is "ready now" if Europe chooses war, but says no one would win:

Speaking in Moscow after calls initiated by the leaders of Finland and Norway, Putin said Russia does not want a conflict with Europe. But if Europe takes that step, Russia is prepared to respond immediately.

He warned that in such a scenario there would be no winners. He also claimed Europe cannot strategically defeat Russia by 2030, and that the Baltic Sea must not become "another Strait of Hormuz".

The message comes as NATO's northern flank keeps building up its defences.
