@waszel Hey Randy, not sure if you have seen this, but I found a short video based on "The Cold Equations" It is pretty good, exactly what I pictured. It's called "The Stowaway", Enjoy!

Are Persians considered white males? If not, I would like to put forward Abd al-Rahman al-Sufi. He wrote "The Book of Fixed Stars" in 964 the first work to describe the large and small Magellanic clouds, and Andromeda, the first recorded observations of other galaxies.
@ProfZirul#ASTRO100Z I really hate veggies, most taste very bitter to me. Of the few I can stand I would say Carrots are my favorite which, I know, are not actually vegetables, but most people consider them to be.
@waszel 4 feet of math, 2 inches high, 7 classes of materials. Thanks Randy, learning math has been one of the best and most challenging experiances of my life. See you around, math wizard.
@waszel#pcm163 I made two by accident, here are both.
Haiku 1:
"My nightmare: double
linear integration
approximations."
Haiku 2:
"Randy Anderson:
Magnificent sorcerer,
calculus teacher."
Pick the one you like the most.

I would have never thought that the square root of 2 proof would be that bad, before this year I probably would not have even understood it. But now that I have watched it a few times and really understand it, I appreciate it even more.
@waszel#pcm152 Lots of math going on behind me with the cell tower. From the hexagonal base and tapered design for stability, to the EM recivers and emitters that allow phones to function and the triangular formation of the emitters for max coverage.
Been thinking about six word haikus thanks to teachers, here is one about rail guns I came up with on the way to classes.
"Electric discharge,
Supersonic projectile,
Enemy destroyed."
#sixwordhaiku
@waszel#pcm152 "Integrate weather: (Washington + Colorado) = Apocalyptic snowfall."
I'm not so sure that one works, it does if + and = are not considered words.
Here is another one if that one fails.
"Area under snow equals stuck car."
