I agree that 3/5ths vote isn’t probably attainable for every policy debate, but I disagree with your notion that the majority should have free will. Procedure is important to force compromise.

@LeaderMcConnell I have to agree. Harry Reid started the conversion of the Senate into a smaller version of the House in 2013, and then you dildos returned the favor 4 years later. Invoking the nuclear option on legislation debate would be the end of the Senate. Learn how to negotiate!

@ravavyr @nytimes Wrong. Limiting terms, or restricting office eligibility by age (high or low) is fundamentally wrong in a representative democracy. The people (individual states) should be able to elect who they so please.
