Insurance in America is one of the greatest financial scams ever normalized.
You pay every month for years and hope to never use it.
When you finally use it they look for reasons not to pay.
Prior authorization. Out of network. Not medically necessary. Experimental. Pre-existing condition.
The product you bought is specifically designed to avoid delivering what it promised.
And the people who designed it spent millions lobbying to make sure no alternative could exist.
Car insurance. Health insurance. Home insurance. Life insurance.
Every one of them has quietly shifted from protection to extraction.
And walking away is not an option.
SERIOUS QUESTION: “Why is it that it takes 900 years and 5000 impact studies to build high speed rail but a 5 minute city council meeting is all it takes to approve a massive data center?”
They keep asking why people are angry.
Because we work harder, pay more, own less and watch politicians hand our future to billionaires and bomb manufacturers.
That clear enough?

Atmospheric scientist here. Let me tell you what was actually "slashed" today.
Slashed: The Endangerment Finding — a 200-page scientific review upheld by the Supreme Court, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, and reaffirmed by the National Academies of Sciences in 2025.
Slashed: The legal authority to regulate carbon from cars, power plants, and factories. All of it. Gone in one afternoon.
Now here's what you're "saving":
Yesterday Trump ordered the Pentagon — the largest energy consumer on Earth — to buy coal electricity.
Coal costs $69–$169/MWh.
Wind costs $27–$53/MWh.
Solar costs $38–$78/MWh.
99% of U.S. coal plants cost more to run than replacing them with brand-new solar or wind.
That's your tax dollars buying the most expensive electricity on the market. By executive order. While the Peabody Energy CEO stood in the room.
And the human cost of what you're "saving"?
460,000 American deaths linked to coal pollution in 20 years. Coal PM2.5 is 2.1x deadlier than other air pollution. (Henneman et al., Science, 2023)
All to protect an industry that employs 44,000 people total. Clean energy employs 3.5 million.
Paid family leave allows a mom to take off 12 weeks after they have a baby. It would be heartless to do otherwise. Good news, Republican voters love it and so do Democrats! It’s at a stunning 84% approval. But it has no chance of passing, because the donor class doesn’t want it.
Here’s the number of Americans who think that their lives would be materially improved if we attack Iran - zero. Yet, that’s all they talk about in Washington. Because that’s what the donor class wants.
Are we getting it now? We’re not in charge of our own government.
We booed JD Vance, not the athletes.
Italy has always been a loyal ally and a friend of the US, but friendship needs respect. Current US Administration is not respecting allies. Mr Trump offended the memory of the 53 Italian soldiers who died in Afghanistan, where we sent our troops answering the call after 9/11. We have been hurt by stupid tariff policies against our goods. We don’t accept the US leaving Ukraine alone and be so aggressive against Denmark for Greenland.
But we still have faith in the American people, which has been forged also by millions of our immigrants.
Make America Decent Again.
A federal judge and an appeals court both declined to approve an arrest warrant for Don Lemon due to a lack of evidence.
The trump administration went ahead and arrested him anyway.
Don Lemon is an accomplished journalist whose urgent work is protected by the First Amendment.
There is zero basis to arrest him and he should be freed immediately.
The Trump Justice Department is illegitimate and these extremists will all be held accountable for their crimes against the Constitution.
Paul: So I would ask you, if a foreign country bombed our air defense missiles, captured and removed our president and blockaded our country, would that be considered an act of war?
It's not just that everyone saw the ugly side of Trump team in Minnesota, they also saw they're clear liars. They said Alex Pretti was "domestic terrorist" and "assassin" who was trying to cause “maximum damage and massacre law enforcement.” We all saw them lie with our own eyes.
So let me get this straight:
Storm the Capitol. Beat cops. Chant “Hang Mike Pence.”
That’s a “peaceful protest.”
Film ICE/CBP with a cell phone?
That’s a “riot” and you get a bullet?
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
What the Trump Admin is telling you.
-Don't record ICE
-Don't carry a gun around ICE
-Don't ask ICE for a warrant.
So that takes out the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Amendments.
