I led the council of the @LawSocietyofKe as we visited Mama @IdaOdinga at her Opoda Farm Home to condole with her and pay final respects to the Lt. Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga, CGH. We were accompanied by leaders from various branches, the leadership of @fidakenya, and several members of the bar.

We were pleased to find Her Excellency in high spirits as she gave us a walk through Kenya's and the Odinga family's rich history at Kang'o Ka Jaramogi.

Baba's death has left a devastating gap in Kenya's democratic and human rights space, which only he knew how to occupy. We must collectively resolve to live by his ideals, share in his vision, and recommit to his life-long efforts for a free, equal and prosperous Kenya. We are prepared to do our part in this critical cause.

May Baba continue to rest in peace, and may his legacy continue to guide us.
