Director Antoinette Jadaone has every reason to be proud, as Maris Racal and Jennica Garcia bagged their first Gawad Urian award for their performances in “Sunshine” at the 49th Gawad Urian Awards on Thursday, Oct. 8.

Racal tied with veteran actress Odette Khan for Best Actress, while Jennica Garcia won Best Supporting Actress.

In separate posts on Instagram, Racal wrote, “MAY URIAN NA AKO!!!! Maraming Salamat PAPA GOD!” Meanwhile, Garcia captioned, “MAMA, MAY URIAN NA DIN PO AKO! Thank You LORD!”
