@digitalzones@davidgauntlett Thank you! The diorama was a gift from an old boss who made each of the team a little Lego self engaging in each of our favourite passtimes
Interesting week of video and podcast in #ALC708 this week - anyone else not scared of not having an audience, but of actually ending up with one? I'm thinking my portfolio output 1 is going to focus on my struggle to overcome my terror at relinquishing my anonymity online
@GeorginaAdlam Once, when I worked in a pub, I guy we had banned came in. I told him to leave, and he yelled "I'll take my money elsewhere!!" Yeah, dude. That's the point. This reminded me of that.
@digitalzones That was fascinating, it actually took me a second to be sure it was legitimate footage from 45 years ago, and not modern footage mocked up.
@ykshireultrarun @valeriehughess Agreed, Lee. As someone who has voted more Greens than any other party, I'm really put off by the fact that they are standing behind Angus. They defend him saying it was 10 years ago, when a cursory search shows he was promoting it last year and has a new album coming out

New video in 2015, sexist YouTube vid in 2017, Broken Aesthetiks promoting new albums due in 2018... Doesn't really look like a guy who's ashamed of his silly 10 year ago self...
@HalpernAlex Imagine if public libraries didn't exist, and the government tried to bring them in now. It would be treated like the most outlandish idea...
@digitalzones @EmmaAtDeakin @SallyAtDeakin @KathAtDeakin @DylanAtDeakin@DTeychenne I suppose it's like any types of review, the enthused give good feedback, the dissatisfied give loud feedback, and the content majority stay silent. A lack of bad feedback can therefore be taken as a ringing endorsement by the silent lazy 😉
Vale, Stan Lee. You created characters and stories that have resonated through my whole life. Your delightful cameos will be a hole in future Marvel movies. Excelsior 😔
