Cartesian dualism seems to be a good way to think about this condition. My soul feels like it thrashes against the flesh it has been bound to, and they feel like two things at war with each other, not one.

A trans woman died because of the UK’s new hospital ward policy forcing them men's wards. Joelle was only 27 — a musician, coder, and daughter. This is what happens when they care more about demagoguery, backwards views of sex, non-existent risk than people's well being.

it's sick to me that trans men are punished for having any amount of femininity to them while cis gay men are allowed to get bbls and surge themselves up and still be accepted as men. not that fem gays shouldn't be accepted as men, it's both fem gays and fem trans men should.
