Hello MCSR!
I need your help. I'm doing a lil bit of research and would love it if you all could fill out a Google Form :)

Just wanted to get something off my mind. Feel free to interact or ignore, really up to you.
For context, I am 17, almost 18. I go to a high school where getting into a Top 20 college is everyone's goal. I'm talking the Ivys, Stanford, UChicago, etc... just to name a few (1/4)
fixing the system? It's insane. I shouldn't have to make this choice at 18 years old, one that can change my life for the best or the worst. I hope no one has to be in the situation I'm in, especially if you are first generation and have had this dream for your entire life.
I am not able to accept that offer without being in debt for the rest of my life. Taking on something like this would impact not only me, but my parents and my sister, and would be really selfish. But my bigger question is: how is this fair? Why has no one spoken up or tried....
Life update since it's been a while: I've worked my butt off the last 4 years trying to get into a Top 20 university. Last Thursday, I was admitted to one of my dream schools (an Ivy League), but I can't attend because of the cost. No aid. It sucks. The system needs to be fixed.
I almost died and I need your help - I don’t like to ask you guys for anything but I am in a dire situation and this is my only option. I’ve created a GoFundMe to help my family and I in this trying time - god bless everyone who has sent kind messages I really appreciate it.
