Thank you to Grum at @BridgeStreetAle, and especially his customers for donating a further £97.49.
We’ve spent about half of the funds so far, and it is looking likely that we’ll have quite a bit spare. Discussions are ongoing how the excess will be spent.
We hate to do this to you in November, excuse the horrendous prematurity of this post. BUT! Tickets for Christmas Eve and New Years Eve are on sale
Tickets include your snackage, and your first drink! Guaranteed aggro free, and obviously the friendliest atmosphere in the town!
Well, what can I say? Again! I can't describe how pleased we are. A BIG thank you to all that voted/scored our beers. Over 7 years now with zero gas. Also, I'll take charismatic. Don't start....

@MelissaCole @MrTNSmith Vaccine actually comes from the word vacca meaning cow, in relation to the first immunisation for small pox (using live cow pox virus from pus). Whereas immunisation is an umbrella term.
@appetitestoke@NewsNBC @BillingtonPhoto We love this exhibition and the importance of these people to the town. Our personal favourite is Grum @BridgeStreetAle as we enjoy a beer there (when we can)
The crucial role pubs play in their communities and the social bonds created in them is laid bare in this latest survey. It's right for pubs to be shut right now but they must be allowed to play this role again as soon as it’s safe to do so! ❤️ @morningad https://t.co/pwsSLF5q7c
We really mean it, if you guys need anything during the next lockdown, we will still endeavour to help wherever we can!
We love our little community and all you wonderful folks and we're gonna miss seeing your faces and listening to your bizarre conversations!
Much love!

Doesn't matter where you are folks, pop your details in here to give your MP some grief about the current ban on takeaway beer! It'd do us all a favour!
🙏🏻I've just asked my MP to back @CAMRA_Official's #SaveOurPubs campaign to demand a proper financial support package – and to allow pubs & breweries to sell beer & cider to take away during England’s second lockdown. You can too by following this link: https://t.co/QDweiUkPDb 🍻
WE'RE IN THE GOOD BEER GUIDE!!!!!
A BIG THANK YOU to all that have supported us over the last 6+ years and voted for us again! I can't describe how pleased I am. Hope to see some of you for a pint of cask ale over the next few days/weeks & years!
Grum & The Bridge St Crew
As many know, restrictions are being lifted on many industries. Sadly the pub trade is not one of them. Be assured we will be open as soon as Boris gives us permission and it's safe to do so.
In the meantime, we're doing takeaway beer. Keep an eye out for beers available :)
3 beers available for delivery tomorrow:
Slap in the Face-totally brewed-a lovely 4% hoppy pale (10 litres £35)
West Coast IPA-Milestone 5.6%-a hop punch with traditional abv (10litres £40)
Creme Bearlee-Beartown 4.8%-An all time Bridge Street favourite stout (10litres £40)
When this is over, what say we all pitch in and buy health care workers, couriers, hauliers, farmers, millers, grocers, bakers, sewage workers, power workers, teachers, fire fighters and police officers a bottle of something?
