Member-Guest day 2 was a success. Mowing fairways was a joy this morning. Never had to check up on the staff doing greens and bunkers. Very thankful to have a great team.

@6thFairway The course still isn’t even close to peak color and playing at its best. As the Fwys start to grow we’ll see a little cushion under the ball (decreasing firmness) but this year we may mow Fwys lower than previous years. Also hoping we can aerify

@6thFairway Firm, fast, and TRUE is what we like! Spring is a great time of year for bentgrass. We would attribute this weekends conditons to a light top dress and verticut on Monday, really got us were we wanted to be. Added firmness and got them rolling true

Greens mowed out great today despite the rain and still holding good speed. Really need a better effort by golfers fixing ballmarks. About 15 not repaired per green today! It’s our number 1 complaint and can be improved if everyone does their part.
