@JenaFriedman Part 3–12 but moved to a new town and the familiar nursing routine was too comforting for my baby so… hang in there! Also, if you decide not to nurse, that’s OK too there’s lots of right answers. Nothing wrong with bottle feeding!!!
@JenaFriedman Part 2 call right away to get antibiotics before full, fledge mastitis begins, most of the problems happen right away in the first month or two. After some ginormous hurdles, we nursed until 18 months was going to just do

@stareenite Limited mentorship — my MFA was amazing but occasionally fraught 😂but it’s a dynamic that is best on a short term basis/80% of the time and not sustainable long-term a mentorship needs to grow/evolve or conclude —but then you get to find a new mentor for a new project.
I’m a gun owner. Do not tell me our Founders conceived of this carnage when they wrote the Constitution. Do not tell me they would have tolerated this madness. Do not tell me that teachers must be armed. And do not tell me your AR15 is worth more than another 14 children’s lives.
If Ted Cruz and Greg Abbott really cared about the children who were killed in Texas today, they would CANCEL their speaking gigs at the NRA conference in Houston this coming Friday.
There is no such thing as being “pro-life” while supporting laws that let children be shot in their schools, elders in grocery stores, worshippers in their houses of faith, survivors by abusers, or anyone in a crowded place.
It is an idolatry of violence. And it must end.
This essay was a killer!! Wow!!! So impressive— I’ve been thinking about it all day! Feel free to tag the author! Emily Shepherd!
